Gardens Illustrated Festival 2018 Gardens Illustrated Festival 2018
25th - 26th March 2018
The second Gardens Illustrated Festival, taking place at the magnificent Westonbirt School in the heart of the Cotswolds. Enjoy a fascinating programme of talks from leading experts, self-guided garden tours, garden plant and design clinics and a shopping marquee full of gorgeous garden wares.
Entry to the Festival is free, you are welcome to join us to browse the shopping marquee, visit the cafe, and enjoy the design clinic without purchasing a ticket. Tickets only need to be purchased for the lectures and these will be available on the day from the information stand for £15.

In the grey of January thoughts turn to the colours of spring, and where better to find them than the RHS Show Cardiff April 13th to the 15th. Tickets are now on sale for this first Royal Horticultural Society show of the season set in the splendid parklands of Cardiff Castle at the heart of the Welsh capital, where last year record crowds turned out to enjoy the best of the spring blooms and to seek inspiration for the gardening season ahead.
The RHS Flower Show Cardiff offers beautiful show gardens providing visitors with novel ideas for their own gardens. The floral marquees are full of impressive displays created by the UK's leading nurseries, and RHS Advisory specialists are on hand to answer gardening queries. With all this and more, the 2018 show hopes to be the best yet.
The show, held at Bute Park, Cardiff Castle, has brought to life Cardiff City centre each spring with its yellow daffodils and will do so again this year.

The Chelsea Flower Show has been held in the grounds of the Chelsea Hospital every year since 1913, apart from gaps during the two World Wars. In recent years it has gained a reputation for providing some of the world’s best conceptual gardens.
New for 2018, we're introducing an initiative to celebrate internationally renowned and amazing people in horticulture, and we’re honoured that one of the greatest garden designers and nurserymen in the world is joining us at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.
Our first Horticultural Hero is Piet Oudolf, the influential Dutch garden designer and a leading figure of the New Perennial type of planting which uses bold drifts of herbaceous perennials and grasses for colourful, year-round interest. Piet will be creating a whimsical walk-through feature for your delight and enjoyment.
       
 
Kent County Show 2018
6th - 8th July 2018
The Kent County Show is the region's showcase event for farming, countryside and rural life.
The three day show brings together the very best of Kent with animals, food, fun and excitement giving a true feel of what ’The Garden of England’ has to offer. Experience the Flower Show, Food Tent, Creative Crafts Show, Canine area, show jumping, vintage vehicles and hundreds of cattle, sheep and goats.
The Agricultural area of the Show boasts large displays of cattle, sheep and goats as well as a large Poultry and Egg show. Livestock competitions, sheep shearing demonstrations and modern machinery displays take place throughout the day. A visit to the Wool Tent will educate visitors on the different types of wool, allowing them to feel each of the fleeces on display. The impressive display from Kent Young Farmers Clubs can also be found in this area, showcasing all the animals from their farms. These dedicated students take part in animal judging classes and fun classes such as fancy dress and It’s a Knockout.

Whether you're a traditionalist at heart, or express a love of contemporary garden design, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Tatton, and all the means at your disposal to achieve your gardening desires at home.
The RHS Flower Show Tatton Park was first held in 1999 and has welcomed thousands of visitors through the gates for the past 15 years. Renowned for its friendly atmosphere many of the original features of the show such as the RHS National Flower Bed Competition, Show Gardens and Floral Marquee still remain today. Over the years the RHS have introduced different garden categories and features such as the RHS National Young Designer Competition in 2009, a themed category that changes annually which has included Orchestra Gardens and Galaxy Gardens and a Ladies’ Day in 2011. These additions have made Tatton Park a show that relishes fresh ideas and innovation.

4th August 2018
The Garstang Show will be held on 4th August 2018. Open from 8.30am until 6pm, the show promises to be a brilliant family day out, packed full of entertainment. There will be agricultural and horticultural displays, a farmers market, craft stalls, childrens entertainment, a variety of trade stands, music, local food and beer.
Our main ring act this year is the absolutely amazing Atkinson Action Horses, we can't wait for you to see them! We'll also update you with further acts soon.
For those who may not have been to Garstang Show before, it's a great event showcasing the very best in farming, horticulture and rural life. The society began back in 1809 and we have had over 202 sucessful shows since that date.
The show holds many competitions for a great variety of farm animals including, Cattle, Sheep, Horses and Pygmy Goats but there is also an opportunity for you to enter your pets, perhaps in the rabbit section or in poultry. The Horticulture section also has some great competitions for bakers and crafters, as well as the hugely popular children's sections.
         
 
Shrewsbury Flower Show 2018 Shrewsbury Flower Show 2018
10th - 11th August 2018
Visit the “The Worlds Longest Running Horticultural Show” - The Shrewsbury Flower Show, established in 1875. The show attracts the best floral exhibitors from all over the World and visitors flock in their thousands to see the show each year. The reputation of the show also ensures that it attracts the most expert and horticultural judges in the UK.
The popularity of the Outside Show Gardens grows each year with considerable interest having been shown 2014. The theme for 2014 was ‘A vintage garden’. Judging of both the Quarry Marquee and the Show Gardens took place on Thursday and was completed in time the evening drinks party provided for Members of the Society.
The main Quarry Marquee, which is non-competitive, is host to some of the top horticulturalists in the country. With more than 50 exhibitors vying for the top awards the standards are very high.

Southport Flower Show has a reputation as one of the largest, most diverse and friendliest shows in the country. Whether you are a gifted amateur, professional or just starting out, there is something of interest for everyone. It provides a horticultural hotbed of activity for the beautiful seaside resort and held in 34 acres of beautiful Victoria Park is transformed into a haven for those wanting a memorable day out.
With stunning show gardens, the finest flower displays, an extended food village, special guests and a reputation for friendliness, the show constantly surprises and brings visitors back year after year.
